We are the Gesellschaft für Alternative Ingenieurtechnische Anwendungen (Alternative Engineering Applications Association or GAIA mbH for short) and are regarded as a pioneer of renewable energies in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. We specialise in the development, planning, and construction of wind energy and photovoltaic systems. We implement projects in the photovoltaic sector both on large roof areas and in open spaces. Having successfully completed a project, we take on the operational management of wind turbines, wind farms, and photovoltaic installations and offer a wide range of services. Our service portfolio is rounded off by storage solutions and e-mobility charging systems.

GAIA was founded in 1999 by Dipl.-Kfm. Torsten Szielasko and Dipl.-Ing. Michael Wahl as an engineering office and currently employs 70 people all dedicated to actively contributing to the energy transition.

Our motto "everything from a single source" spells out our core strength. Our customers particularly appreciate the way we pool all the processes required for wind energy and solar projects. We manage the entire project, from initiation to turnkey handover of the facilities to the operators and also offer our clients a wide range of bespoke services, such as our GIS-based analyses, which help them to identify and evaluate project potential and determine an optimal site configuration. Our project review and evaluation team will support you throughout the project and will identify commercial risks at an early stage to ensure the success of your project. We specialise in reducing construction costs and minimising risks by finding innovative solutions to your particular project challenges.
