As an owner-managed company, GAIA has stood for technical expertise, innovative strength and commitment in the field of renewable energies for over 25 years.
Gaia has been successfully realising renewable energy projects since 1999 and has established itself as a leading project developer for wind energy and photovoltaic systems in Rhineland-Palatinate. Founded by Torsten Szielasko and Michael Wahl, the company now employs 75 people - and the trend is rising.
The name GAIA - inspired by Greek mythology - stands for our deep connection with the earth and our goal of utilising its resources in a responsible and future-oriented manner.
Our passion and our approach: We offer a comprehensive range of services for the development of renewable energy projects. From site acquisition, planning, authorisation and component procurement to turnkey construction and technical management - we support all project phases from a single source. Our interdisciplinary team stands for quality, efficiency and solution-orientated work.
Visions and milestones: Our goal: a 100% renewable energy supply. In line with this goal, we have successfully realised numerous wind and solar projects. Current milestones include the completion of a Vestas V162 with an output of 6.2 MW and a total height of 250 metres in Mainz. We are also planning three solar parks with a total output of 20 MW in the municipality of Leiningerland.
