The timber hybrid tower from HASSLACHER Green Tower sets new standards worldwide in terms of sustainability and cost-effectiveness - we are building wind turbines to new heights with wood!
Our innovative tower concept enables hub heights of over 200 metres, supports turbine outputs of more than 6 megawatts and can cope with the dynamic loads of rotors with diameters of over 170 metres.
Our timber hybrid tower is designed for the requirements of tomorrow: the high degree of prefabrication means that transport and assembly can be organised particularly efficiently. The segmented design significantly reduces the need for heavy-duty transport - a clear advantage for sites that are difficult to access, such as wooded and mountainous terrain. The truss structure made of glulam and steel saves on materials, is durable and low-maintenance.
We are convinced that the future can only be built with low emissions. That's why we have developed the wind power tower with the lowest CO₂ footprint on the market. This makes our wooden hybrid tower a pioneering solution for the energy transition. Along the entire value chain - from the procurement of raw materials to dismantling and reutilisation - it goes without saying that we treat nature responsibly. We attach great importance to the sustainable procurement of the valuable and renewable raw material wood in order to ensure its availability for future generations.
As part of the HASSLACHER Group, Green Tower combines decades of experience in structural timber construction with modern engineering technology. The HASSLACHER Group is one of Europe's leading timber industry companies, a driver of innovation and the global market leader in glulam. With proven quality, reliability and expertise, the group of companies offers worldwide planning and realisation of dynamically loaded structures and has many years of experience with freely weatherable tower constructions.
