For private and institutional operators of wind and PV systems, for landowners, maintenance and service companies, for engineers, energy suppliers and investors. We are responding to current energy policy decisions with stable growth and creative solutions. A keen eye and reliable values give us a solid foundation. We are in the starting blocks with 500 MW of approved and planned projects. We have professionalised our activities in the areas of repowering and new construction of hybrid renewable energy plants, innovative sector coupling and grid connection points and positioned them for the future.

More than 50 renewable energy plants in the pipeline

"Our work is only successfully completed when the green electricity flows." Maximilian Horn, Managing Director of the newly founded Green Wind Construction GmbH, and his experienced team ensure the stable realisation of renewable energy plants in times of a very turbulent renewable energy market. The independent company is thus in a position to reliably and efficiently realise both greenwind's own energy parks and the wind farms and transformer stations of external customers. Green Wind Construction GmbH will realise more than 50 wind turbines, five transformer stations and two solar parks in the coming years - largely planned by greenwind Projektentwicklung. The current project in 2026/27: the construction of five Vestas V150 turbines in Freudenberg with a total output of 28 MW.

Reliable partner in collaborations

We focus on reliable and fair partnerships. For example, we are starting to implement a joint repowering project in Brandenburg with a Swiss partner. We are designing and organising the direct supply to a furniture factory in Prignitz. We are expanding electricity marketing for industrial customers with an electricity supplier from Denmark. We have taken over the technical management of around ten German solar projects from a Danish project developer. Expanding our cooperation with various external partners is a focus of our future work.

Green energy for industry and heavy goods transport

Kilian Fromm took over the management of greenwind's innovation division in 2026. greenwind Innovation drives the development of integrated energy systems. The core topics here are hybrid projects, the heat transition and supplying industrial companies with green energy. These include: the organisation of grid connections, building application procedures for transformer stations, PV and the complementary BESS as well as local energy topics, e.g. in municipal heat planning. As part of the overall TH2ECO project in Thuringia, we are developing a decentralised electrolyser and want to work with partners to put hydrogen on the road for heavy goods vehicles in the future.

Grid connection with greenwind: think ahead!

Without a grid connection, there is no feed-in to the electricity grid and no remuneration. At greenwind, we work proactively to ensure that renewable energy systems are connected to the grid as seamlessly as possible. We specialise in the optimal integration of various energy sources into the energy system. At greenwind, we pay particular attention to wind farm projects where a new transformer station is built. Another exciting focus: future energy parks with wind and solar energy in combination with battery storage systems (BESS).
