For over 20 years, our team has been committed to sustainable CO₂ reduction. As experts in modern substations and battery storage systems (BESS), we are actively shaping the energy transition - from planning to commissioning.
Energy conversion and storage - these are the topics of WT Energiesysteme GmbH. Our core expertise lies in the planning, construction and modernisation of substations and grid feeds in the 10 to 380 kV range. With our many years of experience and expertise, we construct substations according to the wishes of our customers from the renewable energy sector and energy suppliers.
Since 2002, we have built more than 240 substations with a total installed capacity of 16 GW for our customers in Germany. We rely on a high level of in-house expertise with the highest quality standards. For example, we manufacture the switchgear and control systems (control cabinet construction) in-house. In order to further increase the depth of in-house services, we have now also integrated the planning and realisation of cable connections and electrical installation into our portfolio. Our interdisciplinary team currently consists of over 140 employees who are highly committed to continuous development.
Under the motto "Storing energy - shaping the future", we are expanding our field of activity from 2025 to include the development, planning and implementation of battery energy storage systems (BESS), with the aim of strengthening this business area in the long term.

From the greenfield to the turnkey system, we carry out every service and guarantee fast availability, short construction times, innovative control cabinet systems, high-quality components, manufacturer and product independence as well as a team with many years of experience.
