LandPlan OS supports wind energy and photovoltaic projects with expert assessments, digital analyses and clear visualisations. We prepare reports on built heritage protection, visual dominance effects and landscape impact.
For PV projects, we also provide glare assessments: from area-wide glare analyses and minute-by-minute calculations at sensitive receptors to the planning and verification of mitigation measures. Anti-glare walls, fences and other screening solutions can be calculated and visualised in terms of their effectiveness.
At early project stages, we use 3D visualisations of complete wind farm and PV park projects. This allows visual impacts, sightlines and affected viewpoints to be assessed early and communicated clearly. We create photo and video visualisations for reports, presentations, public information and participation, based on our own images or external photographs.
Our work is based on 3D GIS data and the Passage platform by aratall GmbH. Geodata is used to create a digital twin in which projects can be assessed from freely selectable viewpoints. In fully virtual walkthroughs, stakeholders can be invited via link. On site, AR walks allow planned wind farms or PV installations to be viewed in real time within the landscape together with municipal councils, authorities or citizens.
Regionally, LandPlan OS has supported projects in Lower Saxony and neighbouring regions for over 30 years. Impact mitigation regulation, species protection, landscape conservation plans and environmental construction supervision are selected services from our landscape planning portfolio.
In addition, we develop automated self-service assessments, for example for visibility analyses or evaluations of real compensation measures, such as under the Märkisches Modell.
