Established partner for renewable energies
We are an established partner for renewable energies in Germany and operate 17 wind farms with around 250 MW, among other things. Our experienced teams work closely with local authorities, landowners and investors. We always take local conditions and needs into account. In order to optimally develop each site, we utilise our many years of experience with projects and local energy suppliers as well as the comprehensive technical and commercial expertise of the ENGIE Group.
For renewable projects, we take care of everything from A to Z, from site acquisition to planning, authorisations, construction and operation of the plants through to marketing the energy generated. By getting involved in projects at an early stage, we can achieve optimised conditions for development and procurement and minimise the risks. We are committed to promoting local acceptance of renewable energies and offer flexible models for citizen participation. This allows communities and citizens to actively participate in our projects and benefit from the advantages of green energy.
As a financially strong and reliable investor, we acquire project rights in all development phases - from early planning stages to construction maturity.
Direct marketing and PPA
As one of the largest electricity market participants, we concluded 4.8 GW of PPAs worldwide in 2025. Our central trading platform in Brussels is staffed around the clock and has access to all European electricity markets, from forwards to the intraday market.
We offer customised models for plant operators who want to optimise the revenue from their wind farms, gain long-term planning security and meet legal requirements:
- Direct marketing
- Short-term PPAs for post-EEG plants
- Long-term PPAs for new plants without subsidisation
- PPAs for subsidised plants
By combining BESS with renewable energy projects, we help to stabilise the grid and offer our customers a wide range of benefits. Investors and developers can fix the amount of expected revenue through our marketing models with a fixed price component and receive more investment security in a dynamic market environment.
