Climate change and rising energy costs are and will remain central challenges of the 21st century. The finiteness of fossil fuels, people's increasing hunger for energy and the warming of our planet make it necessary to rethink energy policy.
The Bundesverband WindEnergie - a strong partner
Germany is a role model for many countries. The Bundesverband WindEnergie e.V. (BWE) has made a significant contribution to this since it was founded in 1996. With over 20,000 members, it is one of the world's largest associations for renewable energies. For years, the BWE has been advocating the sustainable and efficient expansion of wind energy in Germany and the best possible use of wind power. His specialist speakers also work in international associations such as WindEurope, the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) and the World Wind Energy Association (WWEA) on the European and worldwide development of wind energy.
With its ambitious expansion goals, the wind energy industry is the mainstay of the energy transition. Together with its members, the BWE is fully committed to ensuring that the success story of German wind energy continues and that the vision of “100 percent electricity from renewable energies” soon becomes reality in Germany.
